What I’d Tell Myself 3 Months Ago

Confidence doesn’t come from knowing—it comes from doing.

If you could talk to yourself 3 months ago, what advice would you give?

“If I could go back 3 months, I’d say to myself: You’re on the right path. Don’t second-guess it.”

- Me, talking to Me (3 months ago)

When you’re in the early days, clarity feels like a luxury.

Clarity on next steps.

Clarity on your customer.

Clarity on product execution.

I’ve wanted conviction before action.

Confidence before taking the leap.

But I’ve caught myself overthinking things I should’ve just done.

Like:

  • Reaching out to potential users

  • Shipping content that’s 80% done

  • Testing instead of tweaking endlessly

Today, I reflect:

Where’s the hesitation coming from?

A little fear of failure.

A little fear of getting it wrong.

A lot of fear of wasting time going down the wrong path.

And if I’m being honest—sometimes it’s just not having the reps yet.

Not having the skill yet.

Which then eats at the confidence.

But the truth is:

Confidence doesn’t come from knowing.

It comes from doing.

And yeah, not everything’s going to be perfect.

But I don’t need perfect.

I need momentum. 🏃🏽

If you’re in the early grind right now, questioning everything—

You probably need momentum, too.

Any baby step forward counts.

Just. Keep. Going. 🚀

Here’s what that looks like for me right now:

Reaching out to 5 cold prospects a day

Posting daily again on LinkedIn

Actively engaging with potential users

Small moves → big shift.

Build a streak. Keep going.
